Let’s hope the DA doesn’t throw out any of the charges in a plea bargain – they have a strong history of doing so. The “public” is well aware of that and doesn’t fear the DA’s Office….

I’m surprised at the bail amount, maybe the DA finally said “the hell with setting a low enough amount so they can get out without a SERIOUS financial burden”? I’m sure it’ll be dropped, hopefully not to the point of two zero’s being removed!

I hope the gal recovers well!

I would also like to say nice going to the guy who called in and told the police the guys name and address, and all the info the RPD needed. The “unintentional accomplice” who reported the dude should get props too.

“Unofficially and Unconfirmed”, It appears our Chase Bank Robber is in custody and being held on $50,300 bond at RCJ. Same name, same age, charges right now at the RCJ are armed robbery by the use or threat of force, poss. of drug para, poss. of cocaine, and was arrested the same day… Excellent job RPD!

The truth is Freidel can be fired without paying him is parachute. All he has to do is violate his trust or make a serious mistake. Oh my, Didn’t he just mis-spend $200K on some filing cabinets that the City can not use? Is he going to pay for the mistake himself or will lying John pay for this blunder? In fact if these two clowns were in a secular job away from political influence they would have been terminated already. Who looses the kind of money these two have and then sues there employer to cover there mistakes and outright lies to everyone about what went down.
The City still will have to deal with wrongful termination lawsuits and will be liable for these terminations because they were rash and incorrect and full of BS. If any two guys that should be terminated for not doing there job and costing us the company ( The people of Racine ) They need to either resign or be fired.

One thing to keep in mind. We can recall Lying John, but Teetsucking Tom would need to be fired. You can’t recall hired employees. I would imagine that it would be cheaper to keep him on rather than having a new mayor fire him and have to pay his golden parachute costs.
It would be interesting to see his contract. Maybe an FOIA request is in order…

Did you hear about the Robbery at 730 Washington Ave.?

I hear they got over $100,000!

Be on the look out for a skinny white middle aged guy with short black/grey hair. Likes to dress in suits and ties – goes by the name John.

Think I’ve seen his picture on a poster somewhere also, some nut carry’s it around, it’s got horns and flames from Hell – it’s called Dickert-Devil, or something like that.

It doesn’t make me feel better to have guessed exactly what was going to happen – way back when – but thanks for showing that once again.

OF course, Dickert should be held 100% liable, should be re-reimbursing the City, and the Common Council should be taking steps to remove him from office. Time will tell.

How the JT can claim that the Mayor was acting within the scope of his duties, and thus afforded legal protection by the City, is , well, telling indeed. The JT has no morals or ethics, and I want to see it go. LEE Enterprises is heavily in debt and it will eventually let the JT go – hopefully the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel will do a better job. Perhaps the business leaders of the Community should get together, talk to the Journal-Sentinel, then pull all their advertising from the JT – help them along on the path to collapse.

One thing is for sure – Racine will never be on the path toward recovery until John and Tom are gone.
