On January 18, 2015 at 2:50 a.m., the Racine Fire Department responded for a fire at 1000 Lockwood. Upon arrival fire fighters discovered a kitchen fire due to unattended cooking on the stovetop. There were no injuries, the Red Cross was called to assist the occupants. The fire caused an estimated $3,000 damage
