From the National Weather Service-Thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon across southern Wisconsin this afternoon. Some of these storms may become severe, with damaging wind and large hail as the primary threats. An isolated tornado is also possible. The greatest risk is in southeast Wisconsin, including the Milwaukee, Racine, and Kenosha areas. The best time for thunderstorms is from roughly 2 to 6 PM today. This area is included in a slight risk for severe weather, as shown on the plot below. This is a risk level 2 on a scale of 1 to 5.
