Update-20 year-old dead after overnight shooting in Kenosha

crime-scene-tape-706717 From the Kenosha Police Department-On April 14, 2014 at 2236 hours, officers of the Kenosha Police Department responded to 65th Street and Sheridan Road for a reported shooting. Upon arrival officers located a vehicle that had struck a home near that intersection. Contact was made with the 20 year old operator and the juvenile male passenger of the vehicle. The operator appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Investigation revealed that the shooting occurred in the area of 58th street and 11th avenue. Kenosha Detectives identified two adult males whom are believed to be involved in the shooting. They were located in a near-by home and are being held on unrelated charges.At this time we believe that this is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
