Marcus Thornton, 29 of Kenosha is being charged with: Homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle, injury by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle, operating after revocation causing death, operating after revocation causing great bodily harm, operating while intoxicated 4th offense and seven counts of bail jumping. According to the Kenosha Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened just after 6 p.m. on Oct. 8, a 20-year-old woman was driving westbound on CTH E, when a minivan driving northbound on CTH EA ran a stop sign onto CTH E and hit the other car. The car driven by the 20-year-old was hit in the driver’s side toward the back, causing it to spin and roll twice. A 5-year-old child in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.Thornton also received citations for: Operating after revocation, failure to stop at a stop sign, operating left of the center line and open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.
Thornton remains at the hospital under guard and will be booked into the Kenosha County Jail upon release from the hospital.Share on Facebook
