Megan Wood, 30 year old of Racine is currently being held on $20,350 bond and charges of: Manufacture Or Delivery Of Scheduale I/ii Narcotics, Possession Of Prescription Drug, Possession Of Drug Paraphernal Ia, and First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety.

According to reports Racine Fire/Rescue and Racine Police were called to the Riverside Inn at 3700 Northwester Ave early this morning for a report of a heroin overdose. Upon arrival they found a 27 year old male party that had OD’d on heroin, the patient was transported to All Saints/Wheaten Franciscan ER where medical assistance was given to counter act the drug. The victim recovered and was transported to Racine County Jail on a PO Hold.

Megan Wood was charged with the overdose and supplying the drugs. Another male party was taken into custody allegedly arrested for his part on the drug supply, but is not listed on Racine County Inmate electronic reports. No criminal complaints have been filed on CCAP as of yet. Expected initial appearances should be Tuesday/Wednesday. According to Wisconsin Circuit Court records the suspect had just been charged on June 3, 2013 for retail theft and then on August 27th for 2 counts of misdemeanor bail jumping and Possess Drug Paraphernalia. She is scheduled to appear on the August 27th charges on September 3, 2013

  1. ok….how much more illegal activity has to happen at this “Motel Hell”????!!!! Come on!!!! Last week two were arrested for Human-trafficking…Racine needs to step up and shut this place down ASAP!!!!!
