According to Racine County Jail records, Demetrus Ozier, 32 has been transported back to Racine where he is currently being held on homicide charges. He was transported to Racine from Shelby County Jail, Tenneessee

On Thursday May 29th, 2013 the United States Marshalls located and arrested Demetrus Ozier in
Memphis TN. Ozier was wanted for 2 counts of 1st degree intentional homicide and 4 counts of
attempted 1st degree intentional homicide out of Racine. Ozier was located at the Tennessee
DMV with a packet of false identification documents. He was preparing to fraudulently obtain a
fake ID. Ozier is being held at the Shelby County Jail awaiting extradition back to Racine.

A second suspect wanted in the 2005 triple homicide of Aaron Woods, Ryan Lockridge and Frank Mister was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals in Memphis, TN. According to Inmate records in Shelby County, TN he is currently being held, pending extradition.

On July 17, 2005, 1:56 a.m., three members of our community were killed and four others injured by gunfire in the 1300 blk of Washington Ave. Aaron Woods, Ryan Lockridge and Frank Mister were all shot and killed. The Racine Police Department is pleased to announce that today Demetreus Ozier is in custody . He has been charged with 2 counts of first degree intentional homicide and 4 counts of attempted first degree homicide.

The triple homicide investigation has been a high priority case for the Racine Police Department and many members of our community were affected by this tragic violence. This arrest was made possible by the Racine Police Department working in partnership with the community and the District Attorney’s office to bring this perpetrator to justice.
