Racine Man charged with sexual assault and incest

Joel Dingman 19 of Racine is currently under arrest and charged with Repeated Sexual Assault of Same Child (At Least 3 Violations of 1st Degree Sexual Assault) and also incest. He appeared today in court and is being held on $75,000 bond. If convicted he faces up to over 100 years in prison and fines up to $100,000.

According to criminal complaints, the suspect is accused of having sexual contact multiple times with a relative who is under the age of 7. The complaint states that the suspect admitted to have sexual intercourse with the victim multiple times along with forcing the victim to perform other acts. The complaint states that the suspect allegedly states it began in the summer of 2011. He stated the last time it occurred was approximately 4-6 months earlier, which would have been approximately August to October, 2012. The complaint states that this happened during times when he was babysitting the victim.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled on February 13,2013 at 9a.m.
