60 year-old man charged after touching neighborhood child inappropriately

handcuffsRobert S Lambkin , 60 years old of Racine is currently in jail after being charged with 1st degree sexual assault of a child under 13.. If convicted he faces up to 60 years in prison. He is currently being held on a $10,000 signature bond after appearing in front of the court commissioner.

According to the criminal complaint, on February 12, 2013, the victim had left her home with her brother and two of her friends and walked thru the alley just to the north of her home. At one point, she walked by the suspects door at resides in Flett Avenue. The neighbor, whom they knows as “Steve” walked into the alley, he asked her what she was doing. And walked within several feet of her. She said that she told him she was just playing with her brother and her friends. She said that the suspect came closer to her and began touching her innappropriately.

The criminal complaint states that the victim went an told her family what happened immediately after this occured. During their investigation they went to speak with Robert Lambkin, who it was later learned calls himself “Steve.”
According to the criminal complaint while the suspect was being interviewed he admitted to putting his hand inside the victims “blouse”. He also stated to officers that “I may have grabbed her between the legs. I know my hand had gone down there.”

  1. What now you can get arrested if you go outside and some kid says you said or did something to them and then your a sex offender? People better stay in your house. It looks like a new kick these kids have. Why on earth would a 60 year old put his hand down an 8 year olds top? Sounds kind of made up to me. Thats prob why he is just on house arrest.

  3. YES ADMITTED IT! HE NEEDS TO STAY LOCKED UP! ITS A SHAME HOW THE RACINE COURT SYSTEM WOULD LET THIS SICKO OUT ON HOME ARREST WHEN THE VICTIM LIVES NEXT DOOR!!!!!!!!! THE DA MUST BE SICK TO ALLOW A CHILD MOLESTER OUT ON A SIGNATURE BOND TO GO HOME AND BE ABLE TO LOOK OUT HIS WINDOW THE CHILD HE MOLESTED!!!! GREAT JOB ROBERT REPISHAK!!!!!!   5. this DA is a joke made my brother plea to a felony for taking my car all we wanted was help for a drug problem he had instead they let people like this out on signature bond the racine court system is corrupt if u have money u wont have much to worry about. they more worried about spending money they say we dont have on these fancy new cop cars and such they should be spending it on more people/ a special task force to catch sick as perverts ruining these childrens lives cuz it forever does. it seems like everyday i see a child getting raped fondeled touch abused all here in this great city of racine lets spend more money on this city they wanna make it look great but looks aint everything if we have DAs letting these sickos out that poor girl now she has to be a prisoner in her own home sad
