Local man becomes hero to a kitten and the community!
To some this isn’t news, but if you are a 5 month old kitten stuck in a tall tree or the owners of one, it is, and it’s GREAT NEWS. I was contacted this morning about a 5 month old kitten having been stuck in a tall tree since yesterday, in the 1900 block of Hayes Ave. The cat was too afraid to come down and neighbors and the owners were worried about it’s health and welfare.
I posted/shared the plea for help on facebook and TEAM RU came to the rescue. Friends of Racine Uncovered contacted a close friend of theirs, Mike Angus, who is an experienced tree climber. Without hesitation Mike came to the rescue. Here are the pictures of him being a hero to many 2 legged and 4 legged creatures! The Racine Community would like to thank you for your selfless act of kindness!

you are truly a hero in our eyes my family wants to thank you greatly for all that you have done. we are really truly blessed to have great people like you in this world. it would be wonderful to do something special for you . you didn’t just save a kitten you saved my daughter’s heart@!
