MPD-Armed Robbers Caught On Tape

While the victim was sitting in her vehicle in TCF Bank’s parking lot, 4110 N. 76th St. on October 19, 2012 at 6:45 p.m., two suspects approached her vehicle; Suspect #1 on the driver’s side and Suspect #2 on the passenger’s side.

Suspect #1 attempted to open her door but failed because the doors were locked. Both suspects pulled out a gun each and placed the gun up to the window, pointed at the victim, demanding she unlock the vehicle. The victim complied. Suspect #1 placed the muzzle of the gun to the victim’s temple, instructed her to take the keys out of the ignition, hand over her purse and her property, and she did.

Both suspects fled from her vehicle in an unknown direction. Suspects obtained money, victim’s driver’s license, purse, debit card and several credit cards.

Both of the following vehicles were used after the incident when the susupects used the victim’s stolen cards to obtain money from ATM machines at the two locations listed below:

Location 1: 4105 West Villard Avenue, silver, two door, auto possible Chevy, Cavalier.
Location 2: 5110 West Hampton Avenue, green, four door, possible Pontiac, Firebird with a spoiler on the back.
The suspects are described as follows: Suspect #1) Black male, 20 to 25 years old, slim build, oblong face, no further description; Suspect # 2) Black male, stocky, shorter than Suspect #1, no further description. Both suspects wore all black clothing.
