Want your Pizza delivered by Firefighters? READ THIS!
On Wednesday, October 10th between the hours of 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM in the city of Racine, families who order from Domino’s Pizza (5100 Washington Avenue, Racine) may have their order delivered by a fire truck! The Racine Fire Department and Domino’s Pizza will randomly deliver pizzas to families who have children under the age of 15. The goal of this program is to educate families on fire prevention, escape planning and maintaining working smoke and carbon monoxide detectors during fire prevention month.
If the fire department finds working smoke detectors in the home, that family will receive one free pizza compliments of Domino’s Pizza. If the family does not have working detectors, the family will receive one free detector from Safe Kids Kenosha-Racine and all families will be given a bag of educational materials for both children and adults. The families will have the opportunity to talk to fire fighters and learn about our local heroes.
If you are a city of Racine resident and would like to participate in the program and possibly get your pizza delivered by a fire truck, call Domino’s Pizza at 637-7000 to order.
Delivering Fire Prevention is a Safe Kids Wisconsin program with participants throughout the state including the Town of Burlington Fire Department and Domino’s Pizza on Saturday, October 13th from 4-8 PM and the Wind Lake Fire Department and Roma II on Thursday October 18th from 7-10 PM.
