Party injured after a car hits a pole
12:37 a.m. – The Racine Police Department is on scene blocking off streets along with the Racine Fire Department after 911 calls stated that a vehicle had struck a pole at Durand and Taylor. Radio reports that 2 parties were in the vehicle, one may have sustained a leg injury. A flatbed was requested for the damaged vehicle. Witnesses report that the minivan sustained heavy damage. Party was transported and police are investigating.

Gee, was alcohol a factor?

There was no mention of alcohol broadcast during the accident. I know people have been having a heck of a time with slippery roads from rain and leaves, not saying that is what happened in this case.
