McKinley MS goes on temporary lockdown after reported man with a gun

McKinley Middle School went on a very short and temporary lockdown at around 3:30 this afternoon. A party went to a teacher and told them that there was a party outside the building with a gun. School officials locked down the school, searched outside and also called 911. School officials could not find anyone in the area, the party was described as a white male, green shirt but there was never any confirmation of a weapon. Multiple squads arrived, searched the area, stepped out with school officials, declared there was no threat and the students were released. No suspect or weapon was found in the general area of the school.
