Ricky Ricardo Cortez Montgomery, 29, of Memphis, was charged Wednesday with armed robbery, possession of a firearm by a felon and battery. The victim states he gave Montgomery an estimated $180 to $200 in cash after he told police he won most of the evening while they were shooting dice with a third man, the complaint stated. Also reported stolen were cellphones and a bottle of prescription medicine, as reportedly earlier.

The victim called his wife after the armed robbery, the wife found Montgomery on Rapids Drive near Carlisle Avenue, where they were involved in a confrontation and the wife claims Montgomery slapped her and tried to hit the cellphone out of her hand, the complaint stated.

Racine County Deputy District Attorney Tricia Hanson requested a $10,000 cash bond for Montgomery. Court Commissioner Alice Rudebusch set a $5,000 cash bond also part of those conditions is that the suspect is not to have any contact with the alleged victims and said he couldn’t have any weapons.
