Man ‘Bleeding Profusely’ from Overnight Scuffle

Mount Pleasant police say they took a man to the hospital early Tuesday morning after he was injured in an altercation with two others.

According to a written statement from police, officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Racine street at 2:21 a.m. for reports of an intoxicated man who was bleeding and screaming.

When MPPD arrived, they found a man “bleeding profusely” from a head wound and two wounds on his right hand. Officers discovered that the man was injured in an altercation with two other men outside of a residence in the 2200 block of Mead Street.
