A Milwaukee felon is facing charges after he allegedly posted pictures of himself on Facebook firing guns at a Caledonia shooting range.

Emerito Papito Davila, 26, was charged in Racine County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of possession of a firearm by a felon and one count of possession of a firearm contrary to an injunction.

If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison and $50,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint:

On Aug. 14, a Wisconsin Department of Corrections agent got an anonymous phone call directing the agent to Davila’s Facebook page. The agent went to the page and saw a picture of Davila shooting live rounds from a gun at a target.

The caption on the photo read “oh yeah!!!! Shooter-with South Side,” and in the comments section someone asked where the picture was taken and Davila wrote “Racine,” according to the complaint.

The agent took the picture to Shooters, where an employee was able to verify the picture was from the range.

Davila is currently being held in Racine County Jail on $2,500 bond while awaiting trial.
