RPD/RFD responded excellently to this situation at Park. The kids were taken to the field house until the “item” was removed, I’m sure RFD/RPD are analyzing whatever that was and to find out it’s contents, everyone of the first responders were beyond GREAT!. I’m sure once everything is analyzed and if they do make formal arrests it will be announced. I do personally think (and I don’t have kids in school) that maybe Unified rethink their emergency alert system, in this day and age, kids have phones and will text, make calls post all over facebook. I was getting calls from people when their kids started texting them and had to stop and start to listen. I think Unified should do some type of message system, even in cases like this where thank god no one was injured. Kids start texting their parents and parents will show up
