Updated-Man accused of robbing the Family Dollar appears in court

Alfred L. Carter, 49, of Racine was arrested on charges of armed robbery by used of threat/force of a dangerous weapon yesterday (9/12/12). He is being held on $50,000 bond and a PO hold. Circuit Court records show that formal charges have been filed and his initial appearance is scheduled today for 1:30 p.m.

Updated 4:23 p.m.- Circuit Court records show that his bond is now at $15,000, his next court date is September 19th at 9:00 a.m. He is to have no contact with the Family Dollar Stores.
