RFD respond to fire at laundromat

The Racine Fire Department responded with a full response to the Quarry Laundromat after 911 calls came in stating that a dryer was on fire. They were called to the location at around 10 a.m. this morning. At 10:20 a.m. Battalion Chief states that the fire is under control. Investigators are being called to the scene. No injuries are being reported.

10:34 a.m. – Command is stating that the fire loss is stopped at this time and fire investigators are needed, RPD had to have an additional squad respond after the owner began arguing with officers. Owner was told that they would be arrested if they didn’t stop.
