Man Allegedly Steals Grandma’s Jewelry

Racine man says he took the items from his grandma’s home, but has a hard time remembering details when he binges on drugs.

Thomas A. Frisco Jr. was charged in Racine County Circuit Court Friday with one count of theft of more than $5,000. If convicted, he faces up to six years in prison and $10,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint: On June 17, Frisco was at his grandparent’s home in the 3900 block of Highcrest Drive for a Father’s Day celebration when his aunt spotted him going into a bedroom while everyone else was outside. Frisco has issues with heroin in the past. Later on his grandmother went into her bedroom and discovered $7,000 worth of her jewelry was missing. Another family members confronted Frisco about the jewelry and he admitted to stealing it and pawning it in Racine.
