Racine Sheriff’s investigating overnight homicide

5:30 a.m.-The Racine County Sheriff’s Department has been on scene around 3 hours for a homicide in the 16000 block of Plank Road (Yorkville). They have been assisted by the Racine Police Department K9 Unit, Mount Pleasant Police, State Patrol. There is no available information on the victim at this time. This is an active and on-going investigation, more information to follow as it becomes available from the Racine County Sheriff’s Department.
