The Town of Waterford Police Department in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on a Vandalism that occurred in the Town of Waterford.
Between Saturday, August 18th at approximately 8:00PM and Sunday, August 19th at approximately 5:00PM, unknown persons damaged a center channel buoy in the Fox River. It is likely that this was done by striking the buoy with a personal watercraft (Jet Ski).
There have been several of these expensive center channel buoys intentionally damaged since the end June. Some damage is the result of Jet Skis striking the buoys and also when persons on water boards attempt to jump the buoys and instead strike the lights on top of the buoy or the top of the buoy itself.
There is no suspect information at this time.
