Ice Cream Man…Arrested

On 7/30/12 at 1:52am the Mount Pleasant Police Department responded to the 5600 block of Regency Hills Drive for a report of an ice cream truck driving around the area with the music blaring. Upon arrival officers found the ice cream truck in the middle of the road with the “ice cream truck” music still playing. The driver was highly intoxicated and when asked what he was doing he told the officers he was selling ice cream.

Albert A. Amaya, 57, of Racine, was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle while Intoxicated. He was processed and later released from the Mount Pleasant Police Department.
