Bad Boys Moment-Racine Style

If you are “gooning” in Racine… Watch out. RPD has some of the best of the best… and you will be caught. These photos were taken last evening in the area of 16th & Packard. Witnesses state that a party was arrested and transported to RCJ. Here is one of our K9 units in action

  1. are we sure this is legal though? i mean does this pass the plain-sight test? i feel very uncomfortable with random searches like this when it comes time to prosecute – too many loop holes

  2. Don’t know what the extent was for the stop and search, if there is probable cause or warrants out for parties, Police do have rights, and of course if the person driving the car says it’s ok

  4. Yesterday the police grabbed a young boy by the arm pulled him out the car and then went and got his 2 friends out the car too searched them cuffed them stuck them in seperate patty wagons called the k9 unit to smell the outside of the car like about an hour later when they harrassed embarrassed and went threw their belongings they let the 3 go so no they don’t have to have probable cause because the police wanted to know why they were sitting in the car. The police were thirsty to find something on them boys yesterday. They were not even doing anything.

  5. Unfortunately free2say, you don’t have all of the facts from this. One of those “young boys’ was a possible burglary suspect. When the Officer approached the car, the people inside were moving all over the place trying to hide items and the officer smelled weed when he was at the car. That alone gives those officers every right to search them and the car. As for the dog…for all of you haters, that is called free air outside of the vehicle. You don’t need any type of “probable cause” to take the dog around the outside of the car. Get your facts straight before you start chiming in with your two cents.

  6. Thank you very much for the clarification on these “upstanding citizens” and their actions. And a very big thank you to the Racine Police Department and the BEST 4 legged officers a city could ask for. ^5 paws to Titan, Marco and Cheeto from the RPD and Gingess from RCSD! Then it was a GOOD bad boys moment!
