Accident sends man to Froedert Hospital with serious injuries

Racine Police and Fire/Rescue responded to 911 calls for an accident with injuries in the 2100 block of Mount Pleasant at aprox 3 p.m. yesterday. Initial reports that there were multiple parties injured, one seriously. Both the driver and passenger of the SUV were taken to Wheaten Franciscan Hospital and the passenger was later transferred to Froedert Hospital in Wauwatosa.
Racine Police remained on scene for hours after the accident investigating trying to determine the cause of the accident, no further information was available at this time.
