By Heather Asiyanbi-Mount Pleasant Police have detained four suspects suspected of breaking into a home late Sunday afternoon.
Running from police and/or trying to not get caught by being in the get-away car didn’t work out for four burglary suspects who are now spending time in the Racine County Jail.
According to a written release from the Mount Pleasant Police Department, officers responded at 5:45 pm to the 4200 block of Taylor Harbor Drive for a possible burglary in progress.
When police arrived on scene, they saw two suspects climbing out of the window of a home and gave chase when the alleged burglars tried to run. After a short run, officers took the suspects into custody, but discovered two other possible suspects after stopping a vehicle in the area.
All four alleged burglars are being detained at the Racine County Jail. The incident remains under investigation, and Patch will update this story as more details become available.
