Attempted Homicide 1205 Geneva St. April 27, 2012

Subject: Attempted Homicide
Victim: 15 year old male from Racine

On Friday April 27th, 2012 at about 11:10 P.M. officers were dispatched to 1205 Geneva St. for a report of a stabbing. Officers responded and discovered the victim, a 15 year old male, actually had suffered a gunshot wound to the face. The victim was transported to Wheaton-Franciscan All Saints Emergency Room by Racine Fire Department Rescue. The victim was subsequently transported to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee. The injury is not believed to be life threatening.

Initial reports indicate the 15 year old male was seated inside a car parked in the driveway of 1205 Geneva St. when he was shot. The details surrounding this incident are very limited at this time. Currently, no suspect description is available and no further information will be released at this time.
