Possible assault in progress-Gillen and Ashland

6:20 p.m. – Racine police are responding to 911 calls for an assault in progress. Callers state that a male party was assaulting a female in the area of Gillen and Ashland. Suspect is a white male wearing a grey hoodie riding a bike, westbound on Durand. Last seen near the bike trail. Suspect and victims ages are around 15-16, there was another male party with the suspect, no info on him.
6:23 p.m. – Multiple squads are in the area.
6:24 p.m. – They didn’t make it south of Durand.
6:24 p.m – Squads are out at Gillen and Drexel. Officers are stating that it may be a civil, police are investigating.
6:30 p.m. – Officers updated the call, civil trouble, squads are returning to service.
