Accident with injuries-Mound & Marquette-Drunk Driver

6:04 p.m. – Racine police are out with an accident with injuries. Additional squads are responding, radio reports that there is an intoxicated driver involved. Fire and rescue are being dispatched.

12 year old female pulls gun on party-3500 Victory

2:35 p.m. – Racine police are responding to 911 calls for someone that is threatening to shoot another party. 2:36 p.m. – Dispatch is stating no shots fired at this time.

Vehicle fire-800 Park Ave

5:29 a.m. – Racine police and Racine Fire Dept are responding to calls for a vehicle that is on fire in the 800 block of Park Ave. Callers state that the vehicle is parked next to a building.

Confirmed case of whooping cough in Racine

4:33 a.m-It’s being reported and confirmed cases of whooping cough in Racine. Parents whose children attend Horlick High School received a automated phone call notifying them of this. The Racine Health Department has confirmed this for Horlick High School.

Suspects trying to break into vehicles-Shoop Parking Ramp

5:42 p.m. – Racine police are responding to calls for 2 white males in the Shoop Parking Ramp in the 200 block of Main Street that were trying to break into vehicles. Witness is waiting on scene for police.

Burglary attempt-1000 block of Layard

4:58 p.m. – Racine police are responding to calls for a burglary attempt in the 1000 block of Layard. Caller states that a party broke into the home, ran through the home and then fled.

AB 80 law should be signed into effect December 7th.

1:00 p.m. – Racine police are responding to 911 calls in the 1400 block of Main. Caller states that someone is trying to break into the home through a door.

Burglary-2000 block of Lathrop

9:11 a.m. – Racine police are responding to calls for a burglary in the 2000 block of Lathrop. It has been checked. More info to follow as it becomes available.
